I came to the U.S. as a student 25 years ago, built a career in corporate America,
and then made a bold choice to follow my passion:
empowering rural artisans and preserving traditional craft.
Wicker Village is more than a home décor brand — it’s a platform
where timeless Indian artisan skills meet thoughtful, modern design.
We partner directly with women and families in rural India, creating
beautiful,sustainable wicker and rattan pieces that enrich your home
and support lasting community livelihoods.
